Innovative Operations Technology (IOT) is the latest addition to A.C. Muller Enterprises and is co-managed by Andy Muller and his daughter, Christina Muller-Levan. After acquiring Rail Operations Inc. in 2022, the company was renamed as well as reimagined, concentrating its efforts on contemporary and flexible railroad dispatching control solutions and ticketing/points of sale.

The development team’s mastery over their craft allowed for the first prototype of both a dispatching system and a ticketing program for RBMN to be deployed rapidly.

Rail Operations Dispatcher (RODisp), IOT’s advanced dispatching software, is now currently deployed in Transit, Passenger, and Freight Rail services and its evolution since inception is something to behold. RODisp is fully customizable, touch-screen capable, can handle any ruleset, and is backed by over 50 years of software and railroad expertise. With RODisp, railroads can safely and efficiently route trains, conduct maintenance, increase productivity, and can be easily configured to utilize CTC and electronic Train Sheets. Scalability is intuitive so, as your business grows, RODisp grows with you and our rapid-response customer support team is at the ready to assist during any point of your operations.

RODisp also comes in a lightweight variation (RODisp Lite) for implementations where powerful software would still need to be utilized, but the full suite would be more than your business requires.

  • This beloved Connecticut railroad began operations in 1871 with a modest 3 miles of track. It now spans over 50 miles serving both freight and passenger customers. It is proud not only of its heritage, but that it also connects directly into the national rail system.

Rail Operations Yard Control

Automated systems that are implemented properly not only improve outcomes and productivity but also the safety of those out in the field. This program automates yard switch movements by using Entrance Exit (NX) control melding seamlessly with existing signal or virtual NX points. It also features blue flag authority forms which will apply blocking, Derail Control, and Signal Exit Prohibit.
