THE M4 COALITION
The Mullers pride themselves on being humanitarian advocates with an emphasis on industriousness and innovation. From an outside view, the uninitiated may consider the Muller’s business ventures eclectic or, perhaps, not synergistic. But this is far from the truth. Just like Andy and Carol, their son Aaron Muller is energetic and has created multiple successful businesses utilizing his unique interests and talents.
The four prime members of the Muller family’s business ventures interconnect forming the M4 Coalition. Aaron is a magnate of the Eastern US for precious metals, rare coins and artifacts, firearms, and motor vehicles (foreign and domestic).
Considering the depth and breadth of all the offerings M4 provides, we encourage you to view brief summaries of the individual businesses below and then navigate to their respective web pages if you are specifically enticed by the business offerings.
MULLER RARE COINS
Established in 1963, Muller Rare Coins (MRC) initially began as an industry of one; namely, the interests of Andy Muller Jr. As a younger man, Andy spent his afternoons combing through the local bank vaults for rare coins and collectibles to be later resold at a fair and reasonable cost.
Expanding his horizons into precious metals and gemstones, and with the help of his son, Aaron, MRC now boasts a combination of over 125 years of experience in the coin, precious metals, and collectible industries with two service locations and a booming online presence.
Year after year they live up to their motto which is, summarized, “Why pay for retail when you can get white glove service and better rates at MRC?”
Their Etsy storefront was established in 2020 and has been picking up steam while their Ebay storefront boasts a 100% positive feedback rate from over 25,000 purchases!
But, please…do not take our word for it. The real boss of MRC, Nico, makes sure quality is constantly world-class and customer service is second-to-none…
A lesser-known, but no less significant innovation of metallurgical testing attributed to the Muller family is the invention of the AuRACLE gold tester. The traditional practice of testing the authenticity of gold pieces and the karat is through a scratch test of the gold item in question and then adding nitric acid. Despite the relatively low price of the scratch/acid test, scratching can be devastating to gold.
Why risk the damage?
Instead, AuRACLE uses modular vibrations proprietarily tuned to the unique properties of gold as a testing method. This is highly accurate, extremely fast, and reliable. Considering all things in the modern age have an app, AuRACLE also includes this option with the purchase of the device (please see the diagram below).

M4 GUNWORKS
Although a relatively new venture for the Mullers, M4 Gunworks is a local, but well-respected, class 3 FFL holder. As they did with gold, coins, and commodities, they are utilizing the same business strategy for Gunworks. They are providing exceptional customer service while buying and selling firearms at rates that significantly challenge the “big box” stores on the East Coast. Whether you are looking for a first purchase, an upgrade (or addition) to your personal armory, or just need advice, M4 Gunworks is excited to help you.

PROPERTIES BY M4, AMERICAN HOUSE APARTMENTS, & “CRASH PAD”
Having roots in Schuylkill and Berks Counties afford a hometown advantage for the Mullers when it comes to real estate ventures. Collectively, they had (and continue to have) a very keen insight into the markets and the needs of the communities they serve. The diversity of financial advantages or restrictions of the populace afforded the Mullers to meet Southeast PA’s budgets. This led to the creation of a trio of individual companies operating under the banner of Properties by M4.
The American House Hotel & Apartments
The American House is a unique find in downtown Hamburg. Sitting on the corner of North 4th Street in the historic district, this building was first designed to be an upper-echelon bed and breakfast with hotel suite options. Numerous owners tried to make this large building something sustainable. However, it wasn’t until Aaron Muller decided to renovate the American House and reimagine it as an upscale, yet affordable, apartment complex.
Crash Pad Properties, LLC
Adjacent to the edge of Berks County is the college of Kutztown University, home of the Golden Bears. Campus life and the students who need accommodations pose a unique challenge. Turnover is inevitable due to the constant ebb and flow of undergraduates who turn into graduates and the potential for damages is statistically higher.
Far be it for the Muller family to shrink from a challenge!
Crash Pad allows for affordable and secure housing specifically tailored to the college student. With flexible rates and off-campus “dorm” configurations to suit every need, Crash Pad quickly rose to prominence. However, over a few short years, an offer was made to acquire the business that was extremely generous.
The result? A reinvestment of the funds into Properties by M4 which is supporting a bigger venture that will be released at a later date.
M4 MOTORSPORTS
What are two words that are put together that immediately make most people uneasy? Used. Cars.
Some dealers even go so far as to try to soften the psychological blow by calling a used car a “gently pre-owned vehicle”. The similarity between the two phrases? The dealer is casually admitting that their inventory is most likely not meeting a standard of excellence.
If you, your family, or someone you know is on a strict budget, you know how important it is to buy the right car the first time and be confident that your purchase will serve you with minimal headaches throughout the expected life of the vehicle.
M4 Motorsports is more than just “used vehicles”. Aaron Muller and staff carefully source and curate their inventory from across the country and then perform multiple inspections per vehicle to ensure themselves and the customer that the vehicle is not just road-worthy, but road-dominant.
M4 Motorsports Unique Business Model in a Traditional Venture
M4 Motorsports doesn’t just sell cars and isn’t just a “lot” where casual buyers can browse (although that option is available). Inventory also includes premium, rare, and vintage vehicles as well as extremely difficult-to-find niche manufacturers. Additionally, they offer consignment solutions to alleviate the difficulties of private selling all the while keeping as much money in the consigning seller’s pocket as possible when a sale is made.
Finally, and (arguably) most importantly, M4 Motorsports may be located in rural Pennsylvania, but that doesn’t mean their mechanical team isn’t world-class. After years of vetting their staff, in 2019 they finally secured their A-team for repairs, diagnostics, and all things related to foreign, domestic, and modern vehicles. Their quality and care are reflected in how organized and clean they keep their workspaces.
